Lateral Minds aims to do things differently.

We focus on providing efficiency and very high quality to our customers while providing a broad range of technology skills firmly grounded in the real world.

Our background is in large-scale solutions to real problems and the name Lateral Minds comes from the fact that we focus on architecting 'lateral' solutions to common business problems in different industries .Our core competencies lie in Enterprise Software and Systems.

Our core focus is a horizontal one, building software frameworks and solutions within our Software R&D division for common strategic business problems that cut across industry verticals. We then leverage these within our Consulting Services arm. We focus on solutions around Process Management (e.g. Document and Invoice Processing), Compliance Management (Sarbanes-Oxley, 22-CFR-11 etc), Information Management (Integrating systems to provide a single view) and Asset Management (Distributing and updating asset information for local and remote users). The core problem that is common to all of these areas is that they cross organisational boundaries and systems and this is where no point solution will deliver value.
